April 19, 2014 - TMNT

Cowabunga time at the public library? On Saturday, April 19th, the Marshall County Public Library @Benton hosted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle event for fans.

Approximately 50 children attended the event, which took place in the library’s meeting room. Attendees enjoyed the turtle’s favorite meal of pizza and took home some prizes. Everyone also got a special visit from Stacey Hayden from Clark’s River National Wildlife Refuge, who brought along some real turtles for the kids to peek at.

A variety of children’s programs are offered throughout the year, for more information on any of our programs please visit www.marshallcolibrarg.org or call 270-527-9969.
