Library To Offer Informational Session On Recent Trend

Benton, KY – These days it seems like you can’t get online without someone extolling the greatness of essential oils. If Facebook is to be believed, essential oils can do everything from cure a headache to soothe a room full of energetic children.
“There is a lot of information floating around about essential oils, and it’s hard to know what to believe. Lots of people have come to the library to find out more information by checking out our print material on essential oils, so we decided to schedule an educational session where people can ask an expert on the subject,” says Lenisa Jones, Marshall County Public Library @Benton Branch Manager.
The session will be presented by Yolanda Heath, LPN and Certified Natural Health Professional. Heath owns Heath Health Foods, but the library wants to assure patrons this isn’t a sales pitch.
“This session is all about information,” says Jones. “No one brand will be promoted, and nothing will be for sale. We’re simply inviting people to come and ask any of questions they might have about what essential oils are or how they are used. Sometimes a more effective way to learn about something is to actually speak with an expert in the field.”
The Essential Oils Information Meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 27, at the Benton branch of the library from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.
