CALVERT CITY, KY – They’re small, you can only understand about half of what they say, and on Saturday, June 20, they overtook the Marshall County Public Library @Calvert City. No, they’re not minions. They are the approximately 60 children who attended the library’s Minion Madness event, which featured activities and crafts inspired by the new Dreamworks movie.
Minion Madness was just one of the many programs scheduled at the library this summer. All three branches of the library will be hosting different performers – from magicians to animal shows – for children in elementary school throughout June and July, as well as offering weekly programming for students in middle and high school.
